Booking by text message
Write the way you normally would. These short words also work.
| Text | What happens |
|---|---|
| RIDE / BOOK | Start a booking. Or just send your pickup and destination. |
| YES / SÍ | Confirm the exact summary you were just sent. |
| STATUS / ESTADO | Driver, car, plate and approximate arrival for your current ride. |
| CANCEL RIDE / CANCELAR VIAJE | Cancel your current ride (you are asked to confirm). A single word "CANCEL" stops all texts instead, because carriers treat it as an opt-out. |
| AGENT / AGENTE | Talk to the company's staff. Automatic replies pause. |
| RESET / NUEVO | Clear an unfinished request. A booked ride is not affected. |
| HELP / AYUDA | How to book and how to reach the company. |
| STOP | Stop all texts from that company number. START turns them back on. |
Examples it understands
- "Can you pick me up at 4707 Garrison Blvd at 6 PM and take me to BWI?"
- "Need a ride from Dundalk to Towson now, 3 people, cash"
- "Buenas, necesito un taxi para mañana a las 7 de la mañana desde mi casa hasta el aeropuerto"
- "I use a wheelchair, pick me up at Penn Station in 30 minutes"
When it asks a question
The assistant never guesses an address or a time. If "7" could mean morning or evening, or "Walmart" matches two stores, it asks you to choose. If you change something after the price was sent, you get a new summary, and only a YES to that new summary books the ride.
It is an automated assistant, not a person. Reply AGENT at any time.
Message and data rates may apply. Texting a company's number means you agree to receive texts about your rides from that company. Reply STOP to opt out.
